I've had the experience of living all over the world and being immersed within many different countries and cultural dynamics. Throughout my time abroad, I've been able to witness diversity in all walks of life. I wholeheartedly believe in continuing education, and am constantly evolving and developing my skills through a variety of workshops and trainings.
Every person is inherently healthy; I focus on building peoples inner strength, hope, and desire to become an even stronger individual, mentally and spiritually. By creating the therapeutic process between client and therapist, I work to create an honest and successful communication through a healthy connection tailored to your individual needs, strengths, and desires.
I have trained in a variety of treatment modalities; from traditional psychotherapy to a holistic approach, with mental health care. My experience is with children, individuals, groups, and families. I have a Masters in Social Work from Stony Brook University, a LCSW, and Specializations in both Substance Abuse and Public Health.
